300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

300 hours Yoga Alliance

Ten intensive days on the Bali coast to build a 300-hour advanced Vinyasa teaching credential. This is a hybrid program: 100 hours of live, on-site training in Uluwatu paired with 200 hours of flexible online study you can complete before or after your stay. The curriculum centres on Vinyasa and Hatha, with structured sessions in aerial, acro, yin and Ashtanga yoga to broaden your movement vocabulary.

Designed for existing teachers ready to step into senior-level instruction, the training emphasises teaching methodology from day one. You will sequence, lead, and receive direct feedback on full 75-minute classes before you leave. The program also covers functional anatomy, hands-on adjustments, philosophy, and the business essentials of running your own classes and retreats.

Study in an ocean-view shala near Bingin Beach, with time between sessions to surf, swim, and explore the Uluwatu cliffs.

The Training Experience

This is a working teacher training, not a retreat with a certificate attached. The days are full and structured around one clear goal: making you a confident, capable senior Vinyasa instructor.

Mornings begin in stillness — meditation and pranayama before any movement. From there, the practice builds into Hatha or Vinyasa sessions taught with deliberate pace, so alignment, breath and transitions land clearly rather than rushing past. Themes like chakra awareness and nervous system regulation are woven in practically, not as theory to memorise but as tools to use in your own sequencing.

Teaching practice is where this training earns its hours. You start guiding small sections of class early and build toward leading a full 75-minute session by the end of the course. Feedback is direct and specific — sequencing, communication, how you hold space — so you leave with real teaching experience, not just a manual.

The program deliberately broadens your movement vocabulary beyond Vinyasa. Each week includes aerial, acro, yin and Ashtanga sessions. The aerial work uses custom-designed swings with cushioned padding, focusing on safe technique and spinal decompression rather than complex wraps. Acro yoga builds partner-based trust and body awareness. Yin, Restorative and yoga nidra bring the pace down for fascia release and nervous system reset. Ashtanga provides a structured, repeatable sequence that bridges Hatha precision with Vinyasa flow.

Asana labs break key postures down in detail — alignment, variations, modifications with props, and hands-on adjustments taught with care. Functional anatomy connects directly to what you feel on the mat: how muscles, joints and fascia behave during movement, and how to guide students safely within their structure.

Philosophy is treated as something to live with. Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the eight limbs, chakras, gunas and foundational Ayurveda are explored through discussion and journaling, looking for patterns in how you think and move through the world.

The 200 hours of online study run alongside the on-site work — video lessons covering all topics, with progress tracked automatically. You can complete them before you arrive or after you leave, and you retain lifetime access.

You leave qualified to teach advanced Vinyasa, registered at the 300-hour level, and — more importantly — with the hours of practice teaching that make the credential mean something.

Benefits

  • Broader movement vocabulary — aerial, acro, yin and Ashtanga sessions each week expand what you can offer beyond Vinyasa.
  • Anatomy you can actually use — functional anatomy tied to real movement, so you understand why cues matter and how to adapt for different bodies.
  • Safe, skilled hands-on adjustments — taught with care, grounded in alignment and consent.
  • Creative sequencing tools — advanced Vinyasa flow design, themed class structures, and specialised workshop planning.
  • Business clarity for teaching beyond the course — guidance on Yoga Alliance registration, building an online presence, and creating your own classes and retreats.
