200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

200 hours

A 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training that splits the work: 100 hours self-paced online, then 10 days and nights in Ubud for the hands-on part. The onsite portion runs in a rice-field shala with daily asana, anatomy, philosophy and teaching practice, plus three vegetarian meals a day (Sundays off). Small groups — between 8 and 30 students — and a dedicated host on-site throughout.

Graduates receive a Yoga Alliance RYT-200 certificate. The hybrid format means you can fit the theory work around your schedule, then arrive in Bali ready to move into the physical practice and teaching skills.

The Training Experience

This is a working teacher training, not a retreat with a certificate attached. The online portion covers the reading, theory and groundwork at whatever pace suits you. Then Ubud takes over.

Mornings begin before the heat sets in — pranayama, meditation and mantra on the open shala, followed by two hours of Vinyasa or Ashtanga practice. After a long breakfast break, the work shifts to alignment, adjustments and teaching methodology. Afternoons bring anatomy and philosophy; late afternoons are workshops and teaching practice, where you stand in front of the group and learn to lead.

The setting does its part. The shala sits in the rice fields outside Ubud — accessible by foot, bicycle or motorbike, not by car. Between sessions there is time to rest, walk the fields, or simply sit with what you have just learned. The group is small enough that your questions get answered, and a host stays on-site to handle anything practical.

Sundays are yours. The schedule drops, the kitchen closes, and Ubud's restaurants and health-food spots are a short ride away. You return Monday to eight active training days built around a clear arc: learn the postures, understand the body, practise teaching, refine what you have taught.

  • Teaching practice in front of a small group — you leave having actually led classes, not just studied them
  • 100 hours online at your own pace, so the theory work bends around your life
  • Three buffet meals a day, six days a week, cooked with local and mostly organic produce
  • Sundays off to explore Ubud, rest, or simply not set an alarm

You arrive with the reading done; you leave with a certificate, a teaching voice, and ten days of Bali in your body.
