14-Day 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Uluwatu, Bali
Hatha, Vinyasa, Aerial, Acro and daily teaching practice in an ocean-view shala near Bingin Beach. Graduate ready to teach — not just certified.
200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
A 14-day, 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training near Bingin Beach in Uluwatu, Bali — combining Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Aerial, and Acro yoga with daily teaching practice, anatomy, philosophy and meditation. Run by Ulu Yoga, a Yoga Alliance RYS-500 school that has been certifying instructors since 2014.
Mornings begin with pranayama and meditation before moving into asana. Afternoons cover methodology, alignment labs, philosophy and anatomy. You practise teaching from the first week, building toward leading a full 75-minute class by the end. The training includes 80 hours of online study, accessible for life.
Suitable for beginners and intermediate practitioners ready to build a teaching foundation — or deepen a personal practice with the structure of a full curriculum.
The Training Experience
The days are structured and full. You wake to meditation and pranayama — Nadi Shodhana, Kapalabhati, Bhramari, Ujjayi, Bhastrika — then move into a Hatha or Vinyasa practice that slows down enough to feel alignment, breath, and transitions clearly. Themes like chakra awareness, nervous system regulation, and intelligent sequencing are woven in practically, so they become something you can apply rather than just remember.
Each week adds range. One 90-minute session each of Aerial, Acro, and Yin yoga expands what you understand about movement, support, and recovery. Aerial uses custom-designed swings with cushioned padding — gentle and beginner-friendly, focused on form and spinal decompression rather than risky wraps. Acro builds trust and coordination through partner-based progressions with clear spotting technique. Yin, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra bring the pace down: longer-held postures, full prop support, and guided rest that balances the more dynamic work.
Ashtanga threads through as a bridge between Hatha and Vinyasa — a consistent, repeatable sequence that lets you deepen rather than constantly adapt.
Teaching is where this training earns its reputation. You start guiding small sections of class early and build weekly toward leading a full 75-minute practice. Sequencing, class design, communication, and holding space are all covered with direct feedback. Asana Labs go deeper into key postures — alignment, variations, modifications with blocks and straps, and hands-on adjustments grounded in safety. Functional anatomy connects directly to what you feel on the mat: muscles, joints, fascia, and the nervous system, taught so you can guide students without causing harm.
Philosophy is treated as something to live with. Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the 8 Limbs, chakras, gunas, and Ayurvedic foundations are explored through discussion, reflection, and journaling — always tied to how you actually think, react, and move.
Saturdays are half-days. Sundays are fully free — time to surf, visit temples, or simply rest. The ocean-view shala is air-conditioned and minutes from Bingin Beach. You leave certified, but more importantly, ready to teach.
