300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

300 hours Yoga Alliance

A 300-hour Yoga Alliance-certified teacher training in Uluwatu, Bali, designed for those who've completed their 200-hour foundation and want to deepen their teaching craft. The program combines daily asana practice with intensive teaching methodology, functional anatomy, and philosophy — structured so you're leading full classes by the final week.

Ulu Yoga has trained thousands of instructors since 2014. This course adds aerial, acro, yin, and restorative modalities to your toolkit, alongside business guidance for building your own retreats and classes. The ocean-view shala sits minutes from Bingin Beach, with accommodation options ranging from shared rooms to private bungalows on-site.

You arrive as a 200-hour teacher. You leave qualified to lead 300-hour trainings yourself.

The Training Experience

This is a working program, not a retreat with a certificate attached. Your days begin at 6:45 with meditation and pranayama — Nadi Shodhana, Kapalabhati, Bhramari, the foundational breathwork you'll eventually teach others. Then two hours of Hatha or Vinyasa, slowed down enough to feel alignment and transitions clearly. The repetition is deliberate: by week two, sequences become familiar enough that you can focus on how you're teaching, not just what comes next.

Afternoons shift between philosophy, anatomy, and teaching practice. Asana Labs break postures down to their mechanics — variations, props, hands-on adjustments delivered with care. Functional anatomy connects directly to what you experience on the mat: why certain cues prevent injury, how to adapt for different bodies. Philosophy covers Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the 8 Limbs, chakras, gunas, and Ayurvedic principles — approached as tools for understanding patterns in how you think and move, not abstract study.

Each week includes 90-minute sessions in aerial, acro, yin, and Ashtanga. Aerial uses custom-padded swings focused on safe technique rather than complicated wraps. Acro builds partner-based trust and coordination. Yin, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra offer the counterbalance — longer holds, full prop support, guided rest. Ashtanga provides a structured sequence that bridges Hatha's steadiness with Vinyasa's flow.

Teaching practice starts early and builds weekly. You begin guiding small sections, then lead longer sequences, then a full 75-minute class by the end. Feedback is direct and specific. By graduation, you've taught enough to feel confident stepping into the role — not just certified, but practiced.

The training requires 75 hours of online study, completed before or after your time in Bali. Videos cover all topics; progress tracks automatically. This becomes your reference library after you leave.
