3-Day Sound Healing Training — Advanced Level 1 in Ubud, Bali
Fifteen hours of Tibetan singing bowl training in groups of one to five, with a Vedic teacher in central Ubud.
A 3-night, 4-day certification training in Tibetan singing bowl therapy, held in Ubud, Bali. You work in a group of one to five people across 15 contact hours — 10 hours of guided instruction and 5 hours of self-practice — and leave with a Level 1 Advanced Sound Healing certificate.
The course covers playing technique, frequency-based bowl application, and sound therapy for chronic physical conditions such as arthritis, migraines, and muscle tension. Your teacher is an ERYT-500 Yoga Alliance certified practitioner with a background in mantra, bhakti, and Gyan yoga.
Accommodation and a vegetarian breakfast are included. All other meals and travel costs are not.
The Training Experience
The training moves between instruction and practice. Mornings and afternoons are spent on the mats at Puri Suksma, working directly with Tibetan singing bowls — learning how to hold them, strike them, and read the vibrations they produce. You start with the fundamentals: correct playing technique and the relationship between specific frequencies and their effects on the body. From there, the course builds toward therapeutic application — how to work with chronic pain, muscle tension, and conditions like arthritis and migraines using sound.
A significant portion of the program is self-practice. That means time with the bowls on your own, developing your ear and your hands without instruction overhead. The small group size — between one and five students — keeps the work close. Questions get answered as they arise, and techniques are adjusted to how your body responds to the sound.
The teaching draws on both a Vedic framework and a modern understanding of frequency therapy. Your instructor, Sarvottam Kumar, brings a meditation background rooted in mantra, bhakti, and Gyan yoga, which shapes how the bowls are introduced — not just as tools, but as part of a wider contemplative practice.
Evenings are your own. The venue sits in central Ubud, a short drive from the Ubud Market and the Arjuna Statue, so there is plenty within reach when you step away from the training.
