A four-day all-inclusive wellness stay in Tabanan, Bali, built around daily yoga, traditional Balinese spa treatments, village cultural activities, and flexible meal plans — including a juice detox option.

Bali Green Retreat is a small, family-run wellness centre in the village of Sesandan, surrounded by tropical gardens and rice paddies. Days begin with a 90-minute morning yoga and meditation session, followed by Balinese breakfast and time to rest, explore, or visit the spa. Afternoon yoga is offered every other day, with cultural activities filling the gaps.

Three meal plans are available daily: a regular menu (chicken, fish, prawn), a vegetarian menu, and a detox juice-fasting programme. One spa treatment is included every day. Suitable for beginners and intermediate practitioners.

The Retreat Experience

This retreat is structured but unhurried — the schedule is there, and nothing on it is compulsory. If you want to skip a session and spend the morning by the pool, that is the point.

Mornings start with fresh juice at half past seven, followed by a 90-minute vinyasa or hatha class with meditation. Breakfast is a full Balinese meal, then the day opens up. "Me Time" is built into the schedule: an hour before lunch, and often an hour in the afternoon. Use it for the spa, the pool, a walk through the rice paddies, or simply staying still.

The spa is a daily feature. One traditional Balinese treatment is included each day — massage, body scrub, or facial — offered both in an indoor treatment room and outdoors in the garden. Afternoon yoga arrives every other day, a 90-minute session that balances the morning practice.

The cultural activities set this retreat apart from a standard yoga holiday. The village of Sesandan is part of the experience: a guided cultural tour, rice paddy trekking, a waterfall purification, and hands-on workshops in coconut oil making and Balinese Hindu offering preparation. These are included in the stay.

The food is cooked on-site by the retreat team. You choose your track each day — regular, vegetarian, or detox juice fasting — and you can shift between them as the week unfolds. Fresh tropical juices are served twice daily, with water, tea and coffee available throughout.

The atmosphere is family-run and village-rooted rather than polished resort. Guests from around the world pass through, and the team aims for a warm, communal feel rather than silent solitude. This is a retreat for people who want structure without pressure, spa days without pretension, and a real Balinese village as their backdrop.
