A seven-day wellness and cultural retreat at Bodhi Leaf Wellness Resort in Sukawati, Bali. The program combines daily spa treatments, chakra balancing and Nadi cleansing with Balinese temple rituals, a cooking class and guided excursions.

Meals are organic and farm-to-table, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and fasting detox options. Suitable for solo travellers and groups, with flexibility to balance structured activities and personal downtime.

Please note: under Balinese spiritual customs and temple regulations, menstruating participants are not permitted to take part in purification rituals or sacred ceremonies included in the program. The team can discuss alternative arrangements when planning dates.

The Retreat Experience

You arrive to herbal tea, a fresh coconut or a detox juice, and a welcome dinner built from produce grown at Bodhi's Farm Bali. From there, the days settle into a rhythm that moves between the body, the spa and the island.

Each morning opens with wellness practices: chakra balancing, Nadi cleansing and energy work designed to align and clear. A daily 60-minute spa treatment follows — a Balinese massage or your choice from the menu — with access to the herbal steam room, sauna and cold plunge. Afternoons widen the frame. A purification ceremony at Tirta Empul Water Temple includes a class on making traditional offerings. A visit to Ulun Danu Temple and a hidden waterfall. Time at the Keliki Village Painting School with local artisans. A private Balinese cooking class. A guided shopping trip to meet the makers behind the island's handcrafts.

The nervous system reset thread runs through it all: restorative and Yin yoga, Yoga Nidra, breathwork, meditation and somatic stillness sit alongside Balinese aromatherapy, sound healing and traditional body rituals. You move between effort and ease, group sessions and solitude, as you choose.

Meals are three a day on full retreat days — organic, locally sourced, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Unlimited herbal teas, coconuts and detox juices flow between them. Those choosing a fasting detox are supported with green juices and healing elixirs in place of meals.

You leave with a parting gift — a Balinese sarong, herbal insect repellent and a personalised wellness journal — and roundtrip airport transfers handle the logistics either end.
