An 8-day slimming and wellness retreat at Adiwana Resort Jembawan in Ubud, Bali, blending daily yoga and meditation with a structured program of 16 Ayurvedic treatments. Designed for guests looking to reset, lose weight, and build sustainable healthy habits, it opens with a wellness consultation and unfolds through herbal massages, steam baths, plant-based meals and two cultural excursions.

The pace balances treatment and practice with real downtime — mornings are structured, afternoons open. Every meal is plant-based and cooked on-site.

The Retreat Experience

The retreat begins with a wellness consultation with the on-site Ayurvedic practitioner, who shapes treatment recommendations around your goals — whether that's detox, weight loss, or a full system reset. From there, the rhythm settles in quickly.

Mornings open with yoga and meditation in a pavilion surrounded by tropical garden. The practice is accessible and grounded, setting the tone before the first treatment of the day. Ayurvedic sessions follow: Udwartana herbal massage for weight loss, Bashpasweda steam baths, Shirodhara oil flow across the forehead, Thai massage, and more — sixteen treatments across the week, each named and scheduled, most with a specific therapeutic aim. You'll feel the work in your body before you leave the treatment room.

Between sessions, the resort does the rest. Two infinity pools, a Balinese garden, and a spa-style atmosphere mean the downtime is genuinely restful. Two half-day excursions — a tour or a cooking class, chosen on arrival — break the week open and let you see Ubud beyond the resort walls.

Meals are plant-based throughout: breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, plus a welcome drink and tropical fruit basket on arrival. The kitchen accommodates allergies and dietary needs when noted at booking. By day eight, the retreat closes with a final morning practice and an Ayurvedic facial — a quiet end to a week that's been both indulgent and deliberate.
