100-Hour Breath & Meditation Teacher Training in Uluwatu, Bali
Classical prāṇāyāma, Tantric meditation and trauma-informed facilitation across 10 days on Bali's southern cliffs.
100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
A 100-hour yoga teacher training focused on breathwork and meditation, rooted in Non-Dual Shaiva Tantra. Over 10 full days of instruction, you study classical prāṇāyāma, six Tantric meditation methods from the Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra, and trauma-informed facilitation — building toward confident, grounded teaching.
The training runs across 12 days total, with arrival and departure bookending the program. Mornings begin with asana and somatic movement; afternoons move into anatomy, philosophy and practice teaching. Contrast therapy — ice baths and sauna — is woven into the schedule as a tool for nervous-system resilience.
Standalone or counted toward the Salty Prana 300-Hour YTT.
The Training Experience
This is a technique-forward training. You spend your days learning to read breath patterns, guide meditation from the Tantric tradition, and hold space for others during breathwork — not just practising these things for yourself, but understanding how to teach them.
The philosophical spine is Non-Dual Shaiva Tantra. Prāṇa is approached not as something to manipulate, but as the living pulse of consciousness — what the tradition calls spanda, the subtle oscillation between expansion and stillness. That view shapes how every technique is taught: classical prāṇāyāma (Nāḍī Śodhana, Kapālabhāti, Bhastrikā, Viloma, Ujjāyī, Kumbhaka) alongside guided breathwork journeys that move through activation, release and integration.
Mornings open with asana and somatic movement to circulate energy. Afternoons shift between anatomy — diaphragm dynamics, vagal regulation, pelvic-floor synergy — and the six meditation methods drawn from the Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra, integrating mantra, visualisation and pratyāhāra. Yoga Nidra sessions are built in for nervous-system reset. Ice baths and sauna sessions appear in the schedule as embodied tools for thermal regulation and resilience, not add-ons.
A full module covers trauma-informed facilitation: recognising over-activation and hyperventilation, grounding techniques for you and your students, energetic boundaries and the ethics of leading breath-based practice. You leave knowing how to hold a room, not just fill one.
This module suits yoga teachers adding breathwork and meditation to their offering, facilitators deepening their skill set, and dedicated practitioners who want structure around what they already do. It stands alone or credits toward the Salty Prana 300-Hour YTT.
Program
Ten full days of instruction between arrival and departure days. Check-in is at 14:00; check-out at 10:30.
Core study areas
- Prāṇāyāma & breathwork — Classical and Tantric techniques: Nāḍī Śodhana, Kapālabhāti, Bhastrikā, Viloma, Ujjāyī, Kumbhaka. Daily guided breathwork journeys through activation, release and integration. Bandhas and mudrās for energetic containment. Reading pranic states and emotional imprints through breath patterns.
- Meditation & yogic awareness — Six Tantric meditation methods from the Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra. Breath as anchor for stillness. Mantra, visualisation and internal focus (pratyāhāra). Yoga Nidra for nervous-system reset and energetic integration.
- Breath anatomy — Diaphragm dynamics, rib-cage expansion, pelvic-floor synergy, vagal regulation.
- Movement & elemental practice — Morning asana and somatic movement. Movement as meditation, embodying spanda through flow. Contrast therapy (ice bath and sauna) for resilience and pranic balance. Breath techniques for thermal regulation. Grounding, journaling and guided reflection.
- Holding space & facilitation — Trauma-informed container creation. Recognising over-activation, hyperventilation and emotional release cues. Grounding and re-centring methods. Energetic boundaries, presence, and the ethics of leading breathwork and meditation.
Learning outcomes
Graduates can guide foundational to intermediate prāṇāyāma and breathwork, facilitate Tantric meditation practices, integrate movement and elemental exposure into a cohesive session, regulate their own energy while holding grounded space for others, and communicate the NDST view of breath as awareness in motion.
A sample daily schedule is available on request and may shift during the training.
