6-Day 50-Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training in Uluwatu, Bali
Study Yin anatomy, sequencing and the art of stillness at a bohemian ocean-view resort in Bingin — and leave Yoga Alliance certified.
50-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
A 50-hour Yoga Alliance-certified Yin Yoga teacher training held at Le Bamboo, a bohemian eco resort in Bingin, Uluwatu. Over six days you study Yin and Restorative yoga alongside anatomy, sequencing, hands-on adjustments and teaching methodology — finishing with a full practice class you design and deliver yourself.
The training suits both aspiring teachers and experienced practitioners deepening their practice. Days run from early morning asana through afternoon workshops, with Hatha, Yin Yang and a beach session built in for balance. One year of online study access is included, so you can prepare before you arrive and revisit material after you leave.
The Training Experience
Each morning opens with a dedicated Yin practice — long holds, guided stillness, and the kind of quiet that lets you feel how the method works in your own connective tissue and nervous system before you ever try to teach it. Restorative sessions sit alongside, building patience and a refined relationship with breath.
Yin is balanced with movement. Hatha classes develop strength and alignment, giving you a physical reference point for the contrast between dynamic and receptive practice. A Yin Yang session blends stillness with gentle activation, and one afternoon moves outside the shala for beach yoga — a chance to feel how the practice adapts when the floor becomes sand.
Anatomy sessions focus on fascia, joints and the body's response to sustained holds. You learn why each posture is practiced a certain way, not just how it looks. From there, the training moves into adjustments — gentle, non-invasive, offered with sensitivity to each body's limits — and into cueing that helps students find depth without force.
Sequencing and teaching methodology run through the middle days. You learn to build classes with a coherent arc, pace them for a Yin state, and hold space without over-instructing. Daily teaching practice builds confidence in small steps; by the final morning you design and lead a full class for your group.
Breathwork, mindfulness meditation and restorative techniques sit alongside the physical work, giving you tools for nervous system regulation that apply on and off the mat. One year of online course access means you can revisit any of it long after you fly home.
Program
Check-in is at 2 PM on Monday; the training closes after Saturday morning's session around 11:30 AM.
- Monday — Orientation and opening Yin practice, followed by dinner together.
- Tuesday to Friday — Mornings begin at 7 AM with Yin asana. After breakfast, sessions move through theory, Asana Lab and anatomy. Lunch at 12:30. Afternoons cover methodology, adjustments, sequencing and complementary practices (Hatha, Yin Yang, beach yoga). Student teaching fills Friday afternoon. Dinner at 6 PM.
- Saturday — Final morning practice, the business of yoga session, and a closing ceremony before departure.
You practice teaching each day and deliver one complete self-designed class. One year of online access lets you revisit any module at your own pace.
Benefits
- Teach with anatomical precision — fascia, joint and connective tissue sessions explain why each Yin posture works the way it does.
- Build classes with clear intent — sequencing workshops move beyond random pose order into coherent, nervous-system-aware arcs.
- Adjust with confidence — hands-on labs teach gentle, non-invasive cues that respect each body's limits.
- Leave certified — 50-Hour Yoga Alliance certificate, countable as Continuing Education for existing RYTs.
- Keep learning after you leave — one year of online course access to revisit and deepen what you covered on the mat.
- Balance stillness with movement — Hatha, Yin Yang and beach sessions give you a felt understanding of how receptive and active practices relate.
