7-Day Neurogenic Reset Retreat in Ubud
Breathwork, somatic healing, and cold exposure in a Balinese river valley — a week built to help your nervous system remember what safety feels like.
A seven-day nervous system reset in a jungle sanctuary near Ubud, built around breathwork, somatic healing, yoga, cold exposure, and Balinese energy work. Small-group, trauma-informed, and designed for people carrying chronic stress, burnout, grief, or emotional overwhelm — or anyone who has been running on survival mode for too long.
The program pairs evidence-informed regulation practices with traditional Balinese healing. Mornings open with meditation and movement; days move through workshops, ice baths, sound healing, and nature immersion; evenings close with talking circles and deep rest.
You leave with tools you can actually use — not just a temporary escape, but a body that remembers what safety feels like.
The Retreat Experience
Most people arrive carrying more than they realise. Years of stress, pressure, and overstimulation accumulate quietly in the body until you forget what it feels like to be fully at rest. This retreat is built around that forgetting — and the slow, deliberate work of remembering.
Set in a river-valley sanctuary south of Ubud, HUOMN blends nervous-system science with Balinese healing tradition. Days follow a rhythm that lets the body settle: morning meditation and breathwork on the shala, workshops that teach you how stress lives in the body, somatic practices that teach you how to release it. There is cold-plunge work, sound healing, dance therapy, guided reflection — and long afternoons with nothing on the schedule except the pool, the garden, or the river below.
The approach is trauma-informed and practical. You are not here to become someone new. You are here to stop surviving and start feeling safe in your own body again. Each session builds toward that — from theta breath and medicine breath to coherent breathing on the final full day — so that by the time you leave, regulation is a skill you carry, not a state you lose the moment you land.
Balinese energy work is woven through as an optional layer. Traditional healers work with breath, intention, and lineage-backed touch to reopen channels the body has closed under stress. You can receive this as sacred practice or as deep nervous-system work — the mechanics are the same.
The group is small, the facilitators are present, and the environment is non-judgmental. People come for burnout, anxiety, grief, life transitions, or simply the need to disconnect. They tend to leave quieter than they have been in years.

Three meals a day, prepared on-site by Komang and Ayu using generations of Balinese culinary knowledge alongside a structured anti-inflammatory dietary protocol.
The protocol is science-based and nutrient-dense, designed to reduce inflammation and support brain health, metabolic regulation, and cellular healing throughout the week. It follows an Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) foundation and excludes dairy (except grass-fed butter), soy, wheat, grains, legumes, processed sugars, nuts (except cashews), and foods high in salicylates, oxalates, and lectins.
What you will eat: grass-fed beef, pasture-raised chicken, wild-caught fish (salmon, mackerel, anchovies, sardines), grass-fed butter and ghee, coconut oil, sweet potatoes, parsnips, zucchini, cauliflower, low-salicylate vegetables, and organic herbs and spices.
Water, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day. If you have dietary requirements beyond the protocol, check with the team before booking.
