This is a seven-day emotional healing retreat in Tabanan, Bali — built around somatic therapy, breathwork, and daily cultural immersion rather than a standard yoga-and-spa week.

The program pairs structured inner work (Emotional Healing workshops, somatic sessions, Kundadance, breathwork with ice bath, Qi Gong) with daily regulation: mid-morning yoga, one-hour Balinese massages, nourishing vegetarian meals, and an optional juice detox or fast.

You split your time between two venues — sleeping at Maha Retreats Bali and attending sessions at Green Point Retreats — with transport between them fully arranged.

The retreat runs year-round with flexible arrival, and no session is compulsory.

The Retreat Experience

This retreat works beneath the surface. The premise is that the body holds what the mind has already moved past — stored stress, protective patterns, unresolved tension — and that real change happens when you meet those places directly rather than think about them.

The rhythm reflects that philosophy. Each morning begins with a grounding practice: Balinese Watukaru yoga and meditation, followed by time for self-reflection before lunch. The afternoon holds the deeper work — a somatic healing session, a Kundadance flow, a breathwork and ice bath experience — and each of those is offset by a one-hour Balinese massage and a cultural outing.

The cultural immersion is not an add-on. Waterfall visits, rice terrace trekking, Balinese painting, offering-making, cooking classes, and Tai Chi are woven through the week as integration practices — ways to ground what shifts in session back into your body and your week.

You are supported by a team that prioritises emotional safety and personal attention. Nothing is compulsory. Rest, reflection, and private time are treated as seriously as the structured work. The retreat is not rigid — it runs year-round, which means your week is shaped more by what you need than by a fixed group syllabus.

By day seven you are likely to feel tired in a particular way: stretched, processed, and noticeably lighter than when you arrived. The work stays with you because it was embodied, not just understood.

Program

Day 1 — Arrival

Check-in from 14:00. Settle into your room at Maha Retreats Bali. A complimentary 60-minute Balinese healing massage is scheduled between 14:00 and 17:00, followed by an afternoon cultural activity (timing and activity vary daily). Dinner at 18:30.

  • One-hour Balinese healing massage

Cultural Immersion

Woven throughout the week: beach visits, waterfall excursions, rice terrace trekking, Balinese painting, cooking classes, offering-making (Canang Sari), language lessons, and Tai Chi.

Benefits

  • Practical emotional release skills — built through structured Emotional Healing workshops and somatic bodywork you can return to after the retreat
  • A regulated nervous system — daily massage, yoga, Qi Gong, and nature immersion support the deep processing sessions
  • A body-level reset — breathwork, ice bath, and Kundadance work with tension where it is held, not just where it is understood
  • Tools for ongoing resilience — breathwork techniques and movement practices you can integrate into daily life
  • Cultural grounding — Balinese ceremonies, art, and nature practices that connect inner work to something larger
  • Flexible, self-paced structure — no session is compulsory; personal time is built in and respected
